Three Sessions. 16 Points.
When I found Mitchell’s tutoring page online, it was after months of self-study, and only three weeks before my scheduled LSAT. I started with a 160 diagnostic, and was aiming for at least a 164 on the test. I was extremely stressed about hitting that mark, and my scores were inconsistent - especially in Logic Games.
I only scheduled three sessions with Mitchell, two hours a week, but the strategies he taught me were invaluable. I learned new ways of approaching the question types, which really helped with “strengthen/weaken” Logical Reasoning questions and Logic Games. The Logic Games strategies I learned brought me from -7/8 on Games to a consistent -0. As well, Mitchell taught me how to approach the test as a whole - how to study the week before, what to do the day before, how to prep for technical difficulties, and so on.
Mitchell was kind and helpful - although I made mistakes frequently in our sessions, he was understanding and happy to review without being belittling or condescending. Ultimately, the strategies Mitchell helped me to learn allowed me to exceed not only my goal score, but also each of my practice scores, ending up with a 176 on the exam.

“Tutor, Mentor, and Friend”
Before working with Mitch, I was unorganized and inconsistent in my LSAT approach. Through a course of a year and a half, Mitch helped me change my thought process and create a unified routine of work, study, and execution. Mitch’s unique process is indicative in the fact that my initial LSAT score went from a 138 to a 153. This jump of 15 points is a direct correlation from the teachings and self-practice that Mitch would assign, and teach me how to execute.
Numbers aside, Mitch became a friendly face and I enjoyed meeting with him. Whether it be through sports, video games, or some other topic, I found him demonstrating LSAT techniques through references I was already familiar with to the point that I would hear his voice in my head while taking exams…in a good way.
Through our combined effort and Mitch’s guidance, I have been accepted into Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law and am currently on the waitlist at UC Hastings School of Law. From personal experience, I believe Mitch to be an outstanding LSAT tutor, mentor, and friend and I would highly recommend him for the LSAT exam preparation and essay advice when applying to law school.

Into the 170s with Confidence
Working with Mitchell was the key to getting out of my bad LSAT habits and attacking the test in a whole new way.
Before working with him, I scored a 171 and struggled with maintaining consistently good scores on RC and LR. I had essentially hit a plateau. After just a few weeks (May until the June test) we trained on habits that improved my speed, which lended to better, more consistent scores. These were ways of attacking the test I had never heard about from commercially available prep books.
His confidence in me and my abilities went a long way to making me feel like I could succeed. I ended up scoring a 174 on the June test thanks to his help!

From Stress to Success
“ I came to Mitchell extremely stressed out and confused about the LSAT because it is such a challenging test. We worked together on the LSAT for about a year and Mitchell taught me all about what to expect and the strategies I needed to achieve the score I wanted.
With Mitchell’s help, I went from a 135 to a 160. He is so helpful and went out of his way to check on my progress. Whenever I had any confusion or questions or comments, Mitchell was just one text away and I could always count on him to respond! I am so glad I chose Mitchell to be my tutor & I highly recommend him to anyone looking for one for the LSAT! “

“The Logic Games Wizard”
When I first began my LSAT journey I had taken the LSAT cold and got a 139. I self studied for a couple of months, for several hours a day and did not see any improvement in my practice test scores. Before finding Mitch I had been a part of a virtual class and had several one on one sessions with another tutor. I still was not improving on my actual practice tests.
I was lucky to have found Mitch as a tutor, with his help I was able to raise my score to a 162. I still believe with the skills and strategies Mitch taught me I can do better. Mitch’s approach to mastering the LSAT is unlike any other. What is different about the LSAT than any other standardized test, such as an MCAT or DAT, is one can only go in with a tool box of strategies one learns and have to figure out how to effectively apply those strategies to the questions. But, nobody wants to go in with a tool box full of unnecessary and cumbersome tools. Which is what makes Mitch an unique tutor compared to others I have worked with before him, he is able to simplify the approach one should take when one sits to take a full test.
When it comes to Logical Reasoning (LR) often times prep books and other tutors will tell you to memorize different strategies for all the various question types, which ends up being ineffective when one sits to take a full test. Mitch taught me his approach, which is far more simple and effective.
When it comes to Logic Games I do not think there is a better teacher than Mitch, he is the LG wizard. Logic Games are frustrating and difficult to learn and I thought I would never be able to confidently take a LG section. It was definitely a journey, but thanks to Mitch I can now reverse engineer games. The way he taught me how to do LG is his own unique method, which is completely different than how others may teach it. He teaches you in a way that is going to be effective when you actually take the test.
Putting his ingenious approach to the LSAT aside, Mitch is a wonderful person. I never once felt too scared to ask him a question. He does not make one feel stupid, which can be the case sometimes when one works with a tutor. He is very flexible and understanding, one wants to do better not only for oneself, but for Mitch as well because he actually cares about his students’ progress. If I ever had a question, I never had to hesitate in sending him a screen shot along with the question. He would always get back to me, even on the weekends and holidays. Anybody looking to improve and do well on the LSAT and is looking for a tutor should look no further and reach out to Mitch immediately.

“I never thought I was going to do well until…”
I had such an amazing experience with Mitchell. Before I started working with him I had taken a popular LSAT live online prep course and then purchased the tutoring package with the same company. I didn't see much success though because all my tutor was doing was asking me to come to him with problems on specific questions I got wrong. I wasn't getting the instruction on the processes that I needed in order to answer every question successfully.
All that changed when I started working with Mitchell. He broke everything down for me and taught me how to approach each question type and each section of the LSAT. With Mitchell I learned the process and so it got to the point where I could answer any question right as long as I stuck to the process he taught me. Our sessions were organized and deliberate. He put together a study calendar for me and tailored lessons to my specific needs. He also worked extensively with me on timing strategies.
My weakest section was LG and I never thought I was going to do well on it until Mitchell taught me his method. In fact, I unlearned the way I was taught previously to do games and started doing it the way he taught me and went from -10 to -2 on games in a very short time. So much of this test is about getting into the right habits so you can excel under timed conditions and that is what Mitchell taught me to do. During our sessions he would watch me do games under timed conditions and he would catch when I was defaulting to bad habits. He would point them out to me afterwards. This method of his is helpful because I didn't even realize I was defaulting to bad habits sometimes.
Mitchell is observant and he has the ability to figure out what you are doing wrong under timed conditions and then he gives you the tools to fix them. He was always available to answer questions and responded to text messages in less than 24 hours.
With Mitchell I was able to increase my score five points in just four months working with him one hour a week. Because I worked full time he gave me a work load that was efficient and specific to my needs. He knows how to teach effectively so that you make the best use of your time.
Mitchell is also a wonderful person who was genuinely invested in seeing me succeed. Working with him was fun and engaging. He has a great personality and he is kind and patient. I feel fortunate to have worked with him and I would recommend him to anyone. I think anyone who tries a session with him will see right away the value in working with him.

Six Weeks —> Stanford
After months of self-study that wasn't really getting me anywhere, I looked for a tutor. I had an initial phone call with Mitchell in which he was communicative, optimistic, and friendly. I decided to work with him, and it paid off. I went from a 162 to a 168 in six weeks, and ended up getting admitted to multiple T6 law schools including Stanford and UChicago.
Mitchell introduced me to test strategies that really changed the way I was taking the test (I worked with Mitchell in preparation for my third LSAT). I saw results almost immediately from his strategies. He was very good at pointing out my weak points and addressing them right away.
He was a good balance for me in suggesting homework assignments but also letting me regulate my practice based on the time and energy that I had. I found him extremely supportive and encouraging, and I really appreciate what he was able to do for me! I would highly recommend working with Mitchell, especially when it comes to the LSAT and logical reasoning.

One Month, Seven Points and a Scholarship
Put simply, Mitchell is a phenomenal tutor. After working with him for only a month, my score jumped 7 points. One of his best attributes is his ability to explain a concept in a variety of different ways. I love the fact that he gives a comprehensive report of what we covered after the lesson, and what I should focus on for the upcoming week.
Additionally, Mitchell was very easy to work with and I looked forward to each of our sessions. Because of his help, I received significant scholarships from various law schools. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to increase their LSAT score in a short time-frame, and have fun while doing so.

“Exactly what I needed”
After months of self-guided studying, Mitchell was exactly what I needed to boost my score into my goal range, from a 162 to a 168. Mitchell has a great eye for identifying areas of weakness and creates helpful methods to tackle blind spots in a student's prep. I highly recommend Mitchell for anyone who is looking for an honest, focused, and collaborative tutor to raise their LSAT score.

A Step up from LSATmax
Mitchell is the absolute best! He is very thorough and teaches you in whatever way is best for you. He's very patient, flexible, and makes it enjoyable to learn. He guided me to a huge percentile gain, a 19% gain to be exact! I had tried LSATmax before seeing Mitchell, but the only thing that helped raise my score was Mitchell's teaching methods.
Mitchell made sure to teach in a way where I would learn, versus LSATmax is for the collective. One thing that Mitchell had me do was keep a log of my work. It was the best thing for me as it helped me see my day to day improvements, as well as identifying my problem areas. Mitchell is a friendly smile that makes studying for the LSAT more enjoyable. He is an intelligent individual that is eager to help others be successful.

“Wish I had found him earlier”
Mitchell was SO great! I tried about 3-4 tutors before Mitchell and I truly wish I had found him earlier in my LSAT preparation. He knows the test very well and is so methodical in breaking down LR question stems/answer choices. After 1 session with him I saw an increase in my LR section score. He tailored a study plan to my specific needs and timeline and was very prompt in scheduling and communication. He made sure to reach out the day before my test date and also after the exam to check in. All signs that he is invested in his students and truly cares. Overall, I highly recommend working with Mitchell not only to boost your score, but to feel more confident in how you understand and approach the LSAT.

Confidence: Gained.
If you’re looking for a worthwhile tutor that cares about the success of his students, look no further than Mitchell. I met twice a week with Mitchell for a month before my test and was awarded with the confidence needed to exceed my goal score on my practice tests. Mitchell worked on logic games with me and by the end of my experience had me scoring between the 20-22 range per section on games. Highly recommend working with him!

Score Jump and Scholly $$$
Mitchell and I worked together for about 3 months leading up to my second attempt at the LSAT. With his help, I was able to jump from the 55th percentile to the 74th as well as acceptance and great scholarship money to a number of NYC area schools! Mitchell is an awesome communicator, he knows just how to simplify complex problems and dictate solutions in a clear and concise manner.
One of my favorite parts about working with Mitchell is his ability to work your interests into problem-solving. Somehow, someway Mitchell always found a way to explain problems within the frame of baseball to help me understand what needed to be done. I enjoyed working with Mitchell so much that I passed him along to my sister for her SAT prep. I highly recommend GoldenLSAT!
